Individual Therapy
3/2025: I am only accepting new teen individual clients at this time (ages 14-17). I cannot currrnely accept any more new adult individual clients, except for short term or adjunct EMDR work
I remember what it was like, looking for a therapist. I needed help yesterday (probably last year if I’m being honest), and the search felt overwhelming, especially on top of everything else I was going through at the time. There were so many people to choose from, most of whom weren’t accepting new clients, and so many hoops to jump through. I wasn’t sure, even if I put in the work, if any of them would be able to really understand me.
I hope I can make the process more humane for you.
Getting Started
Once you reach out, if I have availability for new clients, we will schedule a 15-minute phone call to see if the kind of services I offer are a good match for you. Just give me the headlines on what’s going on, what you need, what has helped in the past (if anything), and what you would like to get out of therapy. I’ll also do a quick assessment around risk at this time (self harm, substance use, etc.).
What to Expect at the First Session
If we determine on the phone call that we could be a good fit for one another, our first session will involve a whole lot of paperwork (my apologies! This is a legal requirement) and probably little to no actual therapy. During this intake session, we’ll go through your history in as much detail as you are comfortable with, and set up your goals for therapy. Once we get over this first hurdle, we can get started working on your goals!

Relationship Therapy
I offer counseling for relationships of all kinds: couples, polycules, “we don’t want to put a label on it,” friendships, queerplatonic bonds, and more.
If you are seeking partner counseling, whether you are mono or polyam, allo or ace/aro/demi, vanilla or in a kink/BDSM relationship, or exploring a relationship change, I welcome everyone in all their complexity.
Getting Started
Once you reach out, if I have availability for new clients, we will schedule a 20-minute video call so you all can see if the kind of services I offer are a good match for your goals. Just give me the headlines on what’s going on, what you all need, what has helped in the past (if anything), and what you would all like to get out of therapy. Please be sure to include contact information for everyone who will be participating in therapy.
I always recommend that anyone in relationship therapy also start (or continue) individual therapy. This is because the “client” I am providing therapy to is the relationship itself, and you may find things come up for you individually that you need space and support to work through. Ethically, I cannot provide individual therapy for people I am seeing in relationship therapy, however I am happy to help you with referrals!
What to Expect at the First Few Sessions
If you determine on the phone call that I could be a good fit for your goals, our first session will involve a whole lot of paperwork (my apologies! This is a legal requirement) and probably no actual therapy. During this intake session, we’ll go through your relationship history in as much detail as you are comfortable with, get some family history, and set up your combined goals for therapy. Next, during the second session, I will meet briefly with each person individually to learn about your personal history and goals, then regroup with everyone for the last part of the session. Once that process is complete, we will work as a group from then on. Please note: except for the individual sessions, everyone involved in the relationship therapy must attend each full session. If anyone cannot make it to part or all of an appointment, we will need to reschedule.

Gender-Affirming Services
As a trans nonbinary person myself, I am honored to provide gender-affirming care to my community.
Letters
I offer sliding-scale letter-writing services in support of people pursuing gender-affirming medical care, including hormones, surgery, voice training, and more.
My full fee is $150 for a 50-55 minute session with you, where I will interview you about your history and current relationship with your gender. Usually only one session is needed, but rarely two or more may be necessary. This fee also includes all time required to write your letter, have it reviewed by my supervisor, contact your provider(s) and/or insurance to ensure the letter checks the right boxes for them, and confidentially fax or hand-deliver your letter to your insurance and/or provider(s).
Sliding scale is available. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Gender-Affirming Therapy
All therapy I offer is gender-affirming by default. No matter how you identify or where you are in your journey, I provide a nonjudgmental refuge for you to explore thoughts, feelings, hopes, dreams, fears, and more related to gender, transitioning, not transitioning, detransitioning, surgery, hormones, coming out of the closet, staying in the closet, and anything else that you need support around.
Support for the Loved Ones of Trans and Nonbinary People
Not trans or nonbinary? I’m here to support you with nonjudgemental, trans-informed therapy, so you can support your kiddo, partner, sibling, best friend, parent, or other loved one. I offer individual, group, family, and relationship therapy for all.
